Generating original and commissionable ideas for factual and formatted series, both on their own and in collaboration with other members of the development team. Conducting accurate supporting research for new ideas. Writing high-quality programme proposals. Identifying brilliant new on-screen talent and forming strong working relationships with those individuals. Securing access to organisations, groups and individuals that might form the basis of new series. Where needed, finding and casting suitable experts and contributors for new ideas. The ideal candidate should be a passionate TV creative with a strong and demonstrable track record developing successful shows across several genres.
